Abstract

The liquid-state metal lamp comprises a lamp tube, a ballast, an electrode and liquid-state metal; a vacuum cavity is formed in the interior of the lamp tube; the vacuum cavity is filled with argon, and the electrode and the liquid-state metal are arranged in the vacuum cavity; the electrode and the liquid-state metal are arranged oppositely, and a preset distance is formed therebetween; the electrode is electrically connected with the ballast on the exterior of the lamp tube; the inner wall of the lamp tube is coated with fluorescent powder for converting ultraviolet light into visible light; and the electrode is provided with an electronic transmitting material. By adoption of the ballast, the electrode temperature is increased, and when the temperature reaches a fixed value, the electronic transmitting electrode coated on the electrode transmits electrons to the external environment to be in collision with free argon atoms, and the argon atoms obtains energy after collision; the argon atoms with energy performs high-speed collision with the liquid-state metal, and the liquid-state metal absorbs energy to jump to generate ionization to give out ultraviolet light, and the fluorescent powder converts ultraviolet light into visible light so as to realize illumination; and the liquid-state metal lamp is safe and toxic-free in use and easy to recycle.
