Abstract

The invention discloses a standby power method for a storage system. When being applied to power down of an external AC (Alternating Current) power supply, the method comprises the steps of supplyingpower to the storage system by use of a group of super-capacitors; turning off the power of irrelative components, carrying out a reset operation on the storage system and meanwhile guaranteeing thattarget data in a memory are not lost during the resetting operation; transferring the target data to a preset hard disc from the memory, wherein the irrelative components are all components, except apreset standby power unit, in the storage system; the standby power unit includes the memory, the hard disc and a preset chip. According to the standby power method for the storage system, the super-capacitors are adopted as a standby power supply; because of the characteristics of the super-capacitors, standby power with maintenance-free can be achieved, the maintenance input in the later periodis reduced, and the defect of low energy density of the super-capacitors is solved by setting a standby power strategy for reduction of power consumption so as to achieve the purpose of transferring and protecting the target data. The invention correspondingly discloses a standby power system and device for the storage system and a readable storage medium.
