Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting a communication fault of a field device of an electricity use information collection system. The method comprises the steps of connecting a fault collection and identification device which serves as an electric energy meter into a strong electricity circuit of a detected concentrator, and detecting the local communication function of the concentrator based on the data which are returned by the fault collection and identification device and received by a main control device; connecting the fault collection and identification device which serves as the concentrator into the strong electricity circuit of a detected collector, and detecting the upward communication function of the collector based on the condition of the to-be-detected collector data received by the main control device; connecting the fault collection and identification device which serves as the concentrator into a strong electricity circuit of a detected electric energy meter, and detecting the communication function of the electric energy meter based on the condition of the to-be-detected electric energy meter data received by the main control device; inserting a to-be-tested SIM card into the fault collection and identification device and testing the SIM card based on the configured testing parameter.
