Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of optical fiber sensing technology and discloses an in-fiber detection system for biological molecules based on a pohotonic crystal fiber. The system comprises a light source unit, a sensing unit, a fluid filling unit, an optical detection unit, an optical fiber link and a filling link, wherein light output by a broadband optical source is transmitted to a conical optical fiber through an input optical fiber and an optical fiber circulator. Because the pohotonic crystal fiber is vertically contacted with a conical area of the conical optical fiber, light in the conical area is coupled to enter the pohotonic crystal fiber in a near field coupling manner; light meeting phase matching conditions is limited in the pohotonic crystal fiber to be transmitted; the wavelength corresponding to the light meeting the phase matching conditions is called a resonant wavelength; and light which does not meet the phase matching conditions is re-coupled to enter the conical optical fiber, is reflected into the optical fiber circulator, and then is transmitted to a spectrum analyzer through the output optical fiber so as to serve as a measuring signal. The detection system disclosed by the invention is simple in structure, flexible in design, easy to realize, small in size and high in sensitivity and precision and is capable of performing in-fiber detection on the biological molecules.
