Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: collecting texture images on a bituminous pavement of a detected road section by an independently developed image collection device; treating pavement images by using an MATLAB self-compiled program to obtain a pavement macroscopic structure width index K as a distribution uniformity evaluation criterion of the bituminous pavement aggregate; judging the distribution uniformity of the pavement of the detected road section; then drilling a density representativeness chip sample on the detected road section; analyzing CT cross-sectional images of the representativeness chip sample through an improved iterative threshold segmentation algorithm; calculating horizontal uniform coefficient DH of a coarse aggregate and the vertical nonuniform coefficients DV1 and DV2 of the coarse aggregate to evaluate the distribution uniformity of the aggregate inside the pavement structure.
