The compound feed provided by the invention can increase the final weight, average daily gain, average daily feed intake and feed conversion rate of the fattening sheep while remarkably reducing the absolute weight of the fattening sheep tail and rumen fat and the total fat, the proportion of the fattening sheep tail and rumen fat and the total fat to the live weight before slaughtering and the proportion of the perirenal fat to the live weight before slaughtering in comparison with a control group; thus, the compound feed provided by the invention can noticeably reduce the fat content without influencing the growing performance and slaughtering performance of mutton sheep; and moreover, the compound feed is safe to use and has a great promotion value.
