The method comprises: selecting a wireless chip compatible with both Station and SoftAP to replace the single mode wireless chip for an Android phone; and creating two WLAN interfaces in the Android system as a Station mode and a SoftAP mode wherein the two interfaces perform data communications through a bridge connection manner. Compared with the prior art, the method proposed by the invention makes improvement in the WiFi working application of an existing cell phone by the adding of a new WiFi mode application scene. This can meet the requirement of some users on the market, and at the same time fix the difficult condition that an existing cell phone could not share an operator's WiFi to other users, therefore, bringing a shared experience for network resources among the users.
