Embodiment Construction

[0016] The technical solutions of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the embodiments.

[0017] 1. Objects and methods

[0018] 1. Clinical characteristics and collection of samples

[0019] After the consent of the patients, the peripheral venous blood plasma of 145 patients with benign thyroid nodules and 285 patients with thyroid cancer in Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital from September 2014 to October 2015 were collected. Patients with benign thyroid nodules included nodular goiter and benign thyroid tumors, and patients with thyroid cancer were papillary thyroid cancer patients, all of whom were confirmed pathologically after surgery. Patients with benign thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer patients were matched in age and gender. All samples were collected in the morning on an empty stomach.

[0020] 2. Training set and test set

[0021] Randomly select 83 benign thyroid nodules and 148 plasma samples from thyroid cancer pat...

Abstract

The invention discloses applications of metabolic markers in diagnosing and identifying benign or malignant lesions of thyroid gland. The malignant lesions of thyroid gland are used for referring thyroid cancer, and the benign lesions of thyroid gland are used for referring thyroid benign node; and the metabolic markers are 1-oleoyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphatidylcholine and / or 1-stearoyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphatidylcholine. It is confirmed that when 1-oleoyl-sn- glycerol-3-phosphatidylcholine and 1-stearoyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphatidylcholine are used for diagnosing and identifying thyroid cancer and thyroid benign node separately, certain accuracy is achieved; and when 1-oleoyl-sn- glycerol-3-phosphatidylcholine and 1-stearoyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphatidylcholine are used for diagnosing and identifying thyroid cancer and thyroid benign node together, higher accuracy is achieved; so that 1-oleoyl-sn- glycerol-3-phosphatidylcholine and 1-stearoyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphatidylcholine, and a composition of 1-oleoyl-sn- glycerol-3-phosphatidylcholine and 1-stearoyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphatidylcholine can be taken as the metabolic markers in diagnosing and identifying thyroid cancer and thyroid benign node.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to metabonomics, belongs to the field of measurement and testing, and specifically relates to the qualitative and quantitative analysis of small molecular metabolites in biological samples and the application as metabolic markers in the diagnosis and differentiation of benign and malignant thyroid lesions. Background technique [0002] Thyroid cancer is one of the most common head and neck malignant endocrine tumors. Epidemiological surveys have found that in the past few decades, many cities around the world have seen an increase in the incidence of thyroid cancer. In Shanghai, the survey found that the incidence of thyroid cancer in men and women increased by 3.1% and 3.8% respectively; in Hong Kong, the incidence increased by 2.2% and 2.7%; The incidence rate of women increased by 6.1% [Document 1: Time trends and age-period-cohort analyzes on incidence rates of thyroid cancer in Shanghai and Hong Kong, BMC Cancer, 2014; Docum...
