Abstract

The invention discloses an FPGA control-based high-current balancing method for lead-acid batteries. One set of lead-acid battery control system is arranged. The lead-acid battery control system comprises at least two lead-acid batteries connected in series, first contactors, second contactors, a high-current discharge resistor, a lead-acid battery voltage detection module, an FPGA controller and a protection device, wherein the first contactors and the second contactors are equal to the lead-acid batteries in quantity; the FPGA controller obtains voltage of the lead-acid batteries through the lead-acid battery voltage detection module; and the lead-acid battery with the highest voltage is discharged through the high-current discharge resistor according to set time when the balance degree between the lead-acid batteries is greater than a set threshold. An FPGA is adopted as a main balance controller, so that the cost of the system is reduced. By adopting a contactor matrix mode, high-current discharging of the lead-acid batteries is achieved to improve the balancing reliability and to achieve high-current discharging. The method disclosed by the invention is simple in operation, safe, reliable and good in balancing effect.
