Abstract

The invention provides starch weaving slurry for replacing PVA (polyvinyl alcohol). The slurry is prepared by the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20-32 parts of composite modified starch, 8-15 parts of a polyacrylate emulsion, 1-3 parts of an antifoaming agent, and 100 parts of deionized water. The polyacrylate emulsion is mainly polymerized from acrylic acid, vinyl acetate, butyl methacrylate and maleate. Each component in the weaving slurry is mutually synergetic, in order to obtain the slurry with high slurry film elasticity, large elongation, and good stability; and the preparation method is simple, and is suitable for industrialized application.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of textiles and relates to a textile size, in particular to a starch textile size which replaces PVA. Background technique [0002] During weaving, the warp yarn needs to be repeatedly rubbed, stretched, wound and impacted by the movement of the loom. In order to reduce the breakage rate and improve the weaving efficiency, the warp yarn must be sized before weaving. The size coats the surface of the sliver with a layer of smooth, wear-resistant, flexible and strong size film, so that the winding fibers on the surface of the sliver are close to the backbone of the sliver, reducing the friction coefficient of the surface of the sliver, and at the same time, part of the size is infiltrated into the sliver. Inside the yarn, increase the adhesion between fibers and increase the tensile strength of the yarn to adapt to the high tension and mid-beat-up in the weaving process, reduce end breakage and improve efficie...
