Abstract

The invention relates to compressing cold-tolerant special hydrogenated butyronitrile rubber and a preparation method thereof. A main chain of the rubber contains an epoxy group and a part of the epoxy group is connected with an ester side group; the ester side group is generated by ring-opening reaction of anhydride of C6-C24 and the epoxy group. The preparation method comprises the steps of introducing the epoxy group in the molecular main chain of the rubber so as to react part of the epoxy group with the anhydride under the action of a catalyst, and introducing the ester group to obtain the special hydrogenated butyronitrile rubber. According to the special hydrogenated butyronitrile rubber provided by the invention, the glass transition temperature is low, a crystallization area does not exist and the compressing cold-tolerant coefficient reaches 0.4, so that the special hydrogenated butyronitrile rubber is special rubber with excellent compressing cold-tolerant performance. The epoxy group and the ester group are introduced into the rubber, so that the compressing cold-tolerant performance is improved and excellent oil resistance is guaranteed.
