The purpose is to overcome the defects of low filtration efficiency, small dust capacity and poor water resistance of existing impregnation emulsion. The impregnation emulsion is prepared from, by mass, polymerization components including 10-30% of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, 1-5% of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, 3-10% of dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid, 1-5% of OP-10 and 50-80 parts of deionized water. The preparing process of the impregnation emulsion for the air filtration paper includes the steps that octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, OP-10 and the deionized water are mixed uniformly and homogenized to obtain A, sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate is added into A, the mixture is heated to the reaction temperature of 70-90 DEG C, reacts for 5-10 h and is discharged.
