Abstract

A method of recycling butadiene through selective hydrogenation of alkynes includes the steps of: with a C4 fraction being rich in the alkynes from extraction of butadiene as a raw material, performing selective hydrogenation in the presence of a catalyst in an isothermal reactor to prepare 1,3-butadiene, wherein operation conditions of the process include: reaction temperature is 30-80 DEG C, reaction pressure is 1.0-3.0 MPa, liquid space velocity is 7-18 / h, and the catalyst is a Pd / Pb catalyst with a niobium oxide / alumina carrier.
