Abstract

The invention discloses a positioning system and method for automatic testing of a PCBA. The system comprises a work bench, a robot, a plurality of testing clamps, a mobile camera, a fixed camera, and a visual processing system. The robot arranged on the work bench is used for executing a transfer motion of a PCBA product. The multiple testing clamps are distributed around the robot and are arranged in a working range of the robot. The mobile camera fixed at the tail end of the robot moves dynamically with the robot and is used for collecting a marking point image on the upper surface of the PCBA product and marking point images of the testing clamps. The fixed camera fixed on the work bench is used for collecting a marking point image at the bottom of the PCBA product, wherein the shooting direction of the fixed camera is perpendicular to the upper surface of the work bench. The visual processing system is used for obtaining pose information of the robot and all testing clamps according to the making point images of the upper surface and bottom of the PCBA product as well as the marking point images of the testing clamps.
