The valve rod sealing device comprises a sleeve sleeving the outer side of a valve rod, filler for sealing the valve rod and pressing components and compacting mechanisms used for compacting the filler; the sleeve comprises an upper sleeve and a lower sleeve; the filler and the pressing components are located between the upper sleeve and the lower sleeve; the filler is close to the valve rod; the inner side parts of the pressing components are pressed against the periphery of the filler; the outer side parts of the pressing components are provided with first arc slopes; the lower sleeve is provided with a second arc slope matched with the outer side parts of the pressing components; the compacting mechanisms are used for compacting the upper sleeve and the lower sleeve together axially; and when the compacting mechanisms perform compacting, the filler is axially compacted by the pressing components through the first arc slopes.
