Problems solved by technology

Aggregate particles have different shapes, angles and surface textures. These properties reflect the size, angle changes, and surface irregularities of aggregate particles, which makes the surface of aggregates uneven, making its surface energy testing difficult and complicated.
At present, there is no simple and accurate method to measure the surface energy of aggregates, so it is necessary to introduce a practical and efficient method for testing the surface energy of aggregates and corresponding devices.

Embodiment Construction

[0030] A method for measuring solid surface free energy by adsorption, comprising the steps of:

[0031] 1) After preparing the sample, place it in a sealed vacuum chamber. The vacuum chamber maintains a constant temperature of 25°C. The specific steps include: the sample is screened and the particle size is between 4.75mm-2.36mm, and then washed Cycle, the washing cycle includes first washing with distilled water, methanol and n-hexane in sequence, then washing with methanol again, drying in an oven at 150°C for 8 hours after the final washing, and drying at room temperature for at least 8 hours. ;

[0032] 2) The probe steam is released into the vacuum chamber, and the vacuum chamber maintains a constant temperature. The probe steam reaches the saturated vapor pressure P at different stages (that is, the time period divided by a certain time interval after the probe gas is introduced). o When measuring the probe vapor adsorption amount n on the surface of the sample at diff...

Abstract

The invention discloses a device and method for measuring solid surface free energy in an adsorption way. The object lies in that the surface energy of a test aggregate and other solids can be directly tested, and the evaluation on the water damage performance of an asphalt mixture can be rapidly and effectively completed. The method comprises the following steps: (1) placing a prepared sample in a vacuum chamber; (2) releasing probe steam into the vacuum chamber, maintaining the vacuum chamber at a constant temperature, measuring the probe steam adsorption amount on the surface of the sample, measuring the probe steam pressure, and establishing an isotherm of the probe steam adsorption amount and relative steam pressure relation; (3) introducing the probe steam into the vacuum chamber until the steam reaches the saturated steam pressure, calculating the dispersion pressure of the probe steam under the saturated steam pressure, calculating the specific surface area of the sample by utilizing the addition amount of the probe steam pressure and the adsorption steam amount; (4) obtaining a linear equation by utilizing the dispersion pressure of the probe steam under the saturated steam pressure and the known surface free energy of the probe steam, and acquiring the surface free energy of the sample.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of asphalt mixture road performance evaluation, in particular to a device and method for measuring solid surface free energy by adsorption. Background technique [0002] Asphalt mixture is widely used in the field of road engineering in my country and occupies an important position in pavement materials. In recent years, the water damage problem of asphalt mixture has become more and more prominent, and the study of aggregate surface energy measurement is beneficial to the evaluation of water damage resistance of asphalt mixture. Aggregate particles have different shapes, angularity, and surface textures. These properties reflect the size, angularity, and surface irregularities of aggregate particles, making the surface of aggregates uneven, making the surface energy test difficult and complex. At present, there is no simple and accurate method to measure the surface energy of aggregates, so it is necessary to introd...
