Abstract

The invention provides a method for detecting the single nucleotide polymorphism of an FSHR gene of a north Guizhou goat. The polymorphic site of the FSHR gene is detected by using a PCR-SSCP technology and a direct PCR product sequencing method to explore the relativity between the polymorphism and expression quantity of the FSHR gene and the lambing quantity, so that the basis is provided for further researching the genetic mechanism of reproductive traits of the north Guizhou goat. The base mutation from C to A is firstly found on 1246bpth of the tenth exon of the FSHR gene of the north Guizhou goat, the lambing quantity of a BB gene type is obviously different from the lambing quantity of an AA gene type and the lambing quantity of an AB gene type (P<0.05), while the difference between the AA gene type and the BB gene type is not obvious (P>0.05), namely that the lambing quantity of the BB gene type is obviously higher than the lambing quantity of the AA gene type and the lambing quantity of the AB gene type. Therefore, the mutation of the tenth exon site of the FSHR gene influences the lambing quantity of the north Guizhou goat, and the mutation site can generate remarkable influences to lambing, so that the BB gene type can be selected as an auxiliary selection basis for increasing the lambing quantity in the breeding of the north Guizhou goat.
