The asynchronous motor control method comprises the following steps: calculating a slip frequency in closed loop vector control, and if the calculated slip frequency exceeds twice of a rated slip frequency, carrying out amplitude limiting processing on the slip frequency; calculating the slip frequency in open-loop vector control, and if the calculated slip frequency exceeds twice of the rated slip frequency, carrying out amplitude limiting processing on the slip frequency; simultaneously, obtaining an estimated speed value by adopting a speed estimation algorithm, if the estimated speed value is out of the ranges of two fluctuated rated slips of a set speed value, carrying out amplitude limiting processing on the estimated speed value.
