Abstract

The invention discloses a double directional antenna neighbor discovering method based on antenna rotation speed difference. The method includes: equipping each node with the same direction antenna and allocating the unique identification ID for each node; calculating the number N of scanning directions; by one node preparing to transmit information, starting a neighbor discovering process, increasing the rotation speed of the self direction antenna to N times of that of an idle node, and transmitting neighbor discovering messages; by neighbor nodes receiving the neighbor discovering message, transmitting reply information; by the discovering node receiving the reply information, saving neighbor information and judging whether the discovering process is finished or not. The method has the advantages that the advantages of the directional antennas are fully utilized, the neighbor discovering node can rotate a circle to transmit the neighbor discovering messages to N directions when the directional antenna of one optional neighbor node points at the discovering node by increasing the rotation angle speed of the self direction antenna, and all the neighbor nodes can receive the neighbor discovering messages.
