Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing white carbon black. Baiyun Obo ore or its tailings are roasted with alkali, and the roasted ore is washed with water. The washing liquid is used to recover the hydroxides of silicon, aluminum and alkali metals. Hydrochloric acid leaching, the leaching solution is a scandium-containing crude solution, which is used as a raw material for further extracting scandium, and the slag of acid leaching is the raw material of the present invention. Then dry and grind the acid leaching slag, alkali metal hydroxide and molten salt of the chloride system according to the mass ratio of 1.0:1.0~2.0:1.0, and roast it at 600℃~750℃. The acid leaching residue was soaked in water first and then washed to neutrality, and the washing liquid was used as mother liquor to prepare white carbon black by precipitation method. The process of the present invention is simple and scientific, and can efficiently extract silicon from the acid leaching slag of scandium enrichment prepared from Baiyun Obo Mine or its tailings to prepare white carbon black.
