According to the machine, an electric heater is a cylindric thin-shell-type electric heating unit; a baking chamber formed by the inner cavity of the electric heater has uniform temperature distribution; and after tea leaves are added, by utilization of rising thermal currents in an oven body, dehumidification is performed automatically and the temperature distribution is further uniformed without a need of forcing air to flow to produce dehumidification and thermal conduction. Electric heating units of common electrothermal baking ovens conduct thermal to tea leaves through heat conduction of air flow, and therefore high-aroma compounds produced in baking processes are taken away by the rapid-flowing air flow, effective components are prevented from easy accumulation and reaction, and formation of aroma is hindered. The machine provided by the invention overcomes the above disadvantages of the common electrothermal baking ovens. According to the machine provided by the invention, a tea leaf oven is drove by a driving device, and therefore tea leaves can be turned over automatically, and the machine has no disadvantage of large labor intensity as electrothermal baking cages in which tea leaves are turned over repeatedly. By utilization of double-layer heat preservation and insulation layers comprising the inner heating device and a housing, and a heat exchanging manner of unforced convection, the machine provided by the invention has an advantage of significant energy saving effects over the electrothermal baking ovens and the electrothermal baking cages and 30-40% of energy can be saved.
