Embodiment Construction

[0021] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with drawings and embodiments.

[0022] figure 1 As an ion deflection transmission system, the ions generated from the ion source can be focused in space through the focusing lens group. When an appropriate voltage is applied to each electrode of the deflection lens group, for example, when DC voltages of 70v, 80v, and 70v are respectively applied to the three electrodes of the deflection lens group, the ions will be deflected by 90 degrees. If an ion trap mass analyzer is connected to the next stage of the deflection lens group, the ions will enter the ion trap mass analyzer. After cooling, storage and mass analysis in the ion trap, it is ejected from the ion extraction groove, detected by the detector, and finally converted into a mass spectrum signal. By applying a specific voltage on the deflection lens group, the charged ions coming from the ion source can be deflected into the next stage mass a...

Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of a mass spectrometry technology, and particularly relates to an ion deflection transmission system used in a mass spectrum instrument. The system comprises an ion focusing lens group and an ion deflection lens group. The ion focusing lens group is used for enabling ions passing through the ion focusing lens group to be focused in space and enter in the ion deflection lens group. Certain direct current voltage is applied on all electrodes of the ion deflection lens group to form a specific electric field, so that the ions can deflect by about 90 degrees. Uncharged photons and neutral molecules are not affected by electric field force, thus continuing rectilinear propagation. The ion deflection transmission system can achieve effects of eliminating the interference of photons and neutral molecules in mass spectrum analysis and improving the signal-to-noise ratio of the instrument.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of analytical instruments, and in particular relates to an ion deflection transmission system. Background technique [0002] Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) is a new analysis and detection technology developed in the 1970s. Its principle is to use inductively coupled plasma to vaporize the elements in the sample into charged ions, and through the ion transmission system The ions generated by the inductively coupled plasma are transmitted to the mass analyzer, and then separated according to different mass-to-charge ratios, and the elements contained in the sample can be known according to the analysis results. Compared with other analytical techniques, ICP-MS has the advantages of low detection limit, wide linear range, rapid detection and simultaneous detection of multiple elements. Its scope of application is also wider and wider. [0003] Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometr...
