Abstract

The invention provides a device for rapidly detecting trace water content in an industrial gas. A detection gas passage of the device detects the trace water content in the bottled industrial high-purity gas under the high pressure formed by the bottled gas per se; a resistor-type dew point sensor for transmitting digital signals is adopted in the gas passage; and after detection, the water content is conversed through an instrumental intelligent circuit. The entrance of the detection gas passage is formed by two parallel sets of gas passages which can perform sampling, purging and high-pressure delivery. The two sets of gas passages are controlled by respective switch valves at the entrance of the device to deliver a high-pressure gas sample to the dew point sensor in turn. When one gas passage is in a detection state, the other one is in a purging state, so that the cross-leakage between the two passages of gas samples is avoided. The flow detection switches of the gas passages are mounted behind flow control valves, so that the device is located in the high-pressure gas sample, and when gas to be detected is replaced, the gas samples in the detector and the input pipe thereof are always under the high pressure, so as to enable the balance of data of the detector to be reached within a short time, and the detection is rapid.
