Abstract

A method for controlling automatic turning-on of a steering lamp is executed by a steering lamp control unit integrated on a clock spring. After a vehicle is started, the steering lamp control unit sequentially executes following steps: step a, judging whether a steering angle of a steering wheel is larger than a preset angle or not; step b, judging whether speed of the steering angle of the steering wheel is larger than zero or not; step c, judging whether an accelerator is in the forward gear or not; step d, judging the speed of the vehicle is smaller than a preset speed or not; and step e, judging whether the acceleration of the vehicle is smaller than zero or not. If affirmative answers are obtained from the step a to the step e, the steering lamp control unit publishes a steering lamp control signal for automatically turning on the steering lamp to a CAN / LIN (controller area network / local interconnect network) bus, a combination switch of the vehicle automatically turns on the steering lamp after receiving the steering lamp control signal for automatically turning on the steering lamp from the CAN / LIN bus. The method has the advantage that when a driver forgets to turn on the steering lamp, the steering lamp can be automatically turned on to remind other vehicles to be attentive, thus driving safety performance is improved.
