Problems solved by technology

For the extraction of building number information, such demanding data requirements are not necessary, but will cause unnecessary waste of cost
[0008] (2) Only the relatively discrete areas between buildings are considered. When applied to densely built areas, the accuracy of building number information will drop rapidly
[0010] Therefore, existing methods for detecting buildings and extracting numerical information from SAR images are still not ideal

Embodiment Construction

[0056] The present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0057] look first figure 1 , figure 2 , figure 1 It is a SAR urban image with a resolution of 3 meters in the present invention, where most of the highlighted areas are buildings, figure 2 It is the result obtained by removing the smaller foreground area in the result of step 5 in step 6. Look again image 3 , image 3 It shows the process of dividing a large foreground area into 4 (the number estimated by the linear regression equation) independent areas in step 15. This process includes five steps a, b, c, d, and e, where a is the number including multiple The foreground area of a building; b is the distance transformed image; c is the marked extreme corrosion area and background area (the white part is the mark); d is the top 4 most significant independent marked areas and background selected based on the significance index region...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting buildings and extracting number information from a synthetic aperture radar image. The method ensures that a building detection result has a smaller false alarm rate and achieves connection with an adjacent bright characteristic from the same building by high and low threshold values, morphology open and close operations and removing small-area regions to the maximum, and furthermore, the method can improve extraction precision of building number information in a region and well separate very closed or even mutually-overlapped bright characteristics from different buildings. Moreover, the method adopts single width high-resolution SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) data which is the easily acquired and can save data cost compared with the data in other forms. Each sub-algorithm in the invention is very simple and efficient (mainly a threshold value operation and a mathematical morphology operation). Thus, the method can be conveniently applied to conditions with a high data volume and a large area region.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of remote sensing information extraction and application, in particular to a method for detecting buildings and extracting building number information from high-resolution synthetic aperture radar images. Background technique [0002] Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), with its high resolution and all-weather, all-weather, large-area data acquisition capabilities, has become an earth observation remote sensing technology that is generally valued by countries all over the world. Advanced spaceborne radar systems, such as German radar satellite TerraSAR-X, Canadian radar satellite RADARSAT-2 and Italian COSMO / SkyMet, can already provide image data with meter-level resolution, while advanced airborne SAR systems have been able to achieve minute meter level. At such a resolution, the geometric and detailed information of urban buildings is already clearly visible, and the extraction of urban building information can be done...
