Embodiment 1

[0076] Embodiment 1. A method for measuring 222Rn and 220Rn progeny in the air by α energy spectrum. In this embodiment, the α energy spectrum measurement adopts a short-time measurement period, and the air sampling pump 5 is used to collect the radon progeny in the air on the filter membrane 6 , and then measure the α radioactivity on the filter membrane 6 to calculate the radon daughter air concentration.

[0077] This method is based on the following conditions:

[0078] 1) During the sampling process, the concentration of 222Rn and 220Rn daughters and the sampling flow rate of the air sampling pump 5 are constant;

[0079] 2) The filtration efficiency and self-absorption factor of the filter membrane 6 are constant and do not change according to the particle size of the aerosol; when the microporous filter membrane is used, it can be considered that there is no self-absorption.

[0080] 3) The detection efficiency of the α-energy spectrometer detector is constant and does...

Embodiment 2

[0130] Embodiment 2. A method for measuring 222Rn and 220Rn daughters in the air by α energy spectrum. In this embodiment, the α energy spectrum measurement adopts a long-term measurement period, and the air sampling pump 5 is used to collect the radon daughters in the air on the filter membrane 6 , and then measure the α radioactivity on the filter membrane 6 to calculate the radon daughter air concentration.

[0131] This method is based on the following conditions:

[0132] 1) During the sampling process, the concentration of 222Rn and 220Rn daughters and the sampling flow rate of the air sampling pump 5 are constant;

[0133] 2) The filtration efficiency and self-absorption factor of the filter membrane 6 are constant and do not change according to the particle size of the aerosol; when the microporous filter membrane is used, it can be considered that there is no self-absorption.

[0134] 3) The detection efficiency of the α-energy spectrometer detector is constant and d...

Abstract

Disclosed is a method for measuring 222Rn (radon) and 220Rn daughters in the air by means of an alpha disperse spectroscopy. The method includes collecting radon daughters in the air on a filter film by an air sampling pump, and measuring alpha radioactivity on the filter film by means of the alpha energy disperse spectroscopy. During measuring in short measuring period, measuring period is 2-20 minutes, the number of periods is larger than or equal to three, the number of 222Rn and 220Rn daughters on the filter film at the starting measuring time can be calculated by means of counts of different characteristic peaks of various measuring periods, and concentration of the 222Rn and 220Rn daughters in the air can be reasoned. During measuring in long measuring period, the number of measuring periods is two, both the two measuring periods are 30-300 minutes, the number of 222Rn and 220Rn daughters on the filter film at the starting measuring time can be calculated by means of counts of different characteristic peaks of the two measuring periods, and concentration of the 222Rn and 220Rn daughters in the air can be reasoned.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a nuclear radiation detection technology, in particular to a method for measuring 222Rn and 220Rn daughters in air by using alpha energy spectrum. Background technique [0002] In recent years, with the in-depth research on 222Rn, 220Rn and their progeny, it is found that in some environments the dose caused by 220Rn and its progeny cannot be ignored and it interferes with the measurement of 222Rn and its progeny. Since the radiation dose of the decay daughters of 222Rn and 220Rn is much higher than that of radon itself, and the balance relationship between 220Rn and its daughters changes with time and place, the 222Rn, 220Rn and The dose produced by its progeny is insufficient. In order to evaluate the hazards of 222Rn and 220Rn more accurately, it is necessary to simultaneously measure the levels of 222Rn and 220Rn daughters in the ambient air. In the past, the methods for simultaneously measuring the levels of 222Rn and 22...
