Abstract

The invention relates to a formula of fruit chewable tablets for protecting eyesight and a preparation method thereof. The formula comprises 10 to 50 parts of kiwi fruit, 10 to 50 parts of mulberry fruit, 60 to 120 parts of grape pip extract, 10 to 50 parts of lemon and 60 to 120 parts of crystal sugar, wherein the grape pip extract contains over 95 percent of proanthocyanidins. The preparation process comprises: 1) treating fruits, namely weighing fruits according to the formula and juicing respectively; 2) granulating: weighing the grape pip extract and the crystal sugar according to a formula ratio, sieving with a 100-mesh sieve, placing in a slotted mixing machine, adding the fruit juice with stirring, stirring till a soft material which can be grasped into paste and dispersed when pressed, and granulating with a 16-mesh sieve; 3) drying and finishing; 4) stirring uniformly; 5) tabletting; 6) inspecting; 7) packaging and warehousing. The formula has the advantages that: the fruit chewable tablets are convenient to carry and take; the fruit chewable tablets can be dissolved in water to form paste which is convenient for people having difficulty in swallowing; and the fruit chewable tablets are used for protecting eyesight, offers a good mouthfeel, are easily acceptable and free from side effects and can be chewed by users when the users use a computer.
