Abstract

The invention relates to hexabromodiphenyl ether polythy-lene naphtalate (PEN) fibers and a preparation method thereof. The hexabromodiphenyl ether PEN fibers are prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 1 to 10 percent of hexabromodiphenyl ether PEN masterbatch and the balance of PEN slices, wherein the hexabromodiphenyl ether PEN masterbatch is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 1 to 10 percent of hexabromodiphenyl ether, 0.1 to 1 percent of compatilizer and the balance of PEN slices. The invention has the advantages that: a flame retardant has good performance and flame retardancy; the hexabromodiphenyl ether PEN fibers can be prepared by the conventional process easily and conveniently; and the hexabromodiphenyl ether PEN fibers have a wide application range.

Description

【Technical field】 [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of flame-retardant fibers, in particular to a hexabromoether PEN (polytrimethylene terephthalate) fiber and a preparation method thereof. 【Background technique】 [0002] Generally, flame retardants can be divided into two categories: organic flame retardants and inorganic flame retardants according to their chemical composition. Organic flame retardants are divided into two series: phosphorus series and halogen series. The former is mostly liquid at room temperature, has a large amount of smoke and is toxic, and requires a large amount of H and O elements in the flame-retardant structure to be dehydrated to form a carbonized layer, so its application is greatly limited. Halogen flame retardants mainly include chlorine and bromine. In terms of usage, brominated flame retardants are more commonly used. This is mainly due to the relatively low corrosiveness and toxicity of bromide after thermal decompositi...
