Embodiment Construction

[0042] In a MIMO receiving system, in a multipath channel with many scattering and reflectors, especially in an environment where there is no line-of-sight propagation, it is assumed that the communication bandwidth is narrow enough that it can be considered that within the frequency band used for communication, the channel transmission characteristics The frequency response is gentle, that is, frequency selective fading is not considered, then the received signal vector r can be expressed by the transmitted vector s, the channel transmission matrix H and the noise vector n as follows:

[0043] r=Hs+n (1)

[0044] Assuming that the number of transmitting antennas is M and the number of receiving antennas is N, the transmitted signal and received signal can be expressed by column vectors s and r respectively as follows:

[0045] s=[s 1 ,s 2 ,L,s M ] T (2)

[0046] r = [r 1 , r 2 , L, r N ] T (3)

[0047] The number of receiving antennas is not less than the nu...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for selecting an antenna in a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system. The method comprises the following steps of: when the processing capacity of the MIMO system is not enough to support all antennas, determining the antennas required for spatial demultiplexing, determining the number of antenna subsets by using a mathematical model of the MIMO receiving system, calculating the conditions of each antenna subset, judging the merits of the antenna subsets based on the conditions, and selecting an optimal antenna subset for spatial demultiplexing. The method realizes antenna selection by software module control, reduces the complexity of spatial demultiplexing, and can select the antenna set with superior transmission performance under the condition of many antennas in the system so as to improve the accuracy of signals at a receiving end.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a wireless communication receiving system, in particular to an antenna selection method for de-space multiplexing in an uplink MIMO system. Background technique [0002] The MIMO (Multipe-Input Multipe-Output) wireless communication system is a system in which both the transmitter and the receiver have multiple antennas, which means multiple input and multiple output. Compared with the ordinary SISO (Single-InputSingle-Output) system, that is, single-input single-output, one of the main features of the MIMO system is to turn the traditionally considered harmful multipath propagation into a favorable factor. It makes full use of channel fading over time and multipath delay expansion to double the transmission speed and system channel capacity without increasing the system bandwidth. Therefore, MIMO technology is valued by more and more people. . Such as figure 1 Shown is a schematic diagram of the basic principle of t...
