Problems solved by technology

Since multiple types of viruses are detected in one reaction at the same time, factors such as cross-interference between multiple pairs of primers and probes, mismatches, and matching annealing temperatures need to be considered. The combination can be achieved; currently there is no product or method that can simultaneously detect EV71 and CoxA16 enteroviruses in one reaction

Abstract

The invention discloses a composition used for detecting enterovirus causing hand foot and mouth disease, which comprises an upstream primer P1:5'-CCCTGAATGCGGCTAATCC-3' and a downstream primer P2:5'-GTCGGTTCCGCTGCAGAGT-3'. Genetic fragments of 5'UTR regions of EV71 and Cox A16 type enteroviruses in a sample can be specifically detected by the composition matched with a proper probe and other reagents through a real time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method. The invention also discloses a kit containing the composition, and a method for detecting the EV71 and / or Cox A16 type enterovirus by utilizing the composition or the kit. When the composition or the kit and / or the method is utilized for detecting the sample, whether the EV71 and / or Cox A16 type enterovirus exist in the sample can be sensitively and rapidly detected in a reaction; therefore, the efficiency and the sensitivity of the detection are improved, the detection process is simplified, and the manpower, the material resources and the detection cost are saved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a composition, a kit and a detection method for specifically detecting hand, foot and mouth disease-causing enterovirus. Background technique [0002] Hand-foot-mouth disease is a common infectious disease caused by enterovirus, mainly in infants and young children. Most patients have mild symptoms, with fever and rashes or herpes on the hands, feet, mouth and other parts as the main features. A small number of patients may be complicated by aseptic meningitis, encephalitis, acute flaccid paralysis, respiratory tract infection and myocarditis. Individual critically ill children progress rapidly and are prone to death. [0003] There are many subtypes of enteroviruses that can cause HFMD, including Coxsackie virus (Cox) A5, A10, A16, A19 and enterovirus 71 (Ev71). Before the 1970s, cox A16 enterovirus was considered to be the main pathogen causing hand, foot and mouth disease (He Jiaxin, Shen Xiaona. Strait Journal of Prevent...
