Abstract

The invention discloses a method for treating sewage and ecologically restoring water environment of villages and small towns in a water network region. The method comprises the following steps of: partitioning a slow-flow pollutant loading creek of which the width B is between 6 and 14 meters into six different continuous sections, namely, an aquatic plant purification ditch section I of which the length R1 is between 40 and 150 meters, a creek in-situ oxygenation section of which the length R2 is between 15 and 40 meters, an artificial waterweed carrier biological film system section of which the length R3 is between 10 and 50 meters, an aquatic plant purification ditch section II of which the length R4 is between 20 and 250 meters, an ecological embankment and irrigation and stagnant water drainage water transfer system section of which the length R5 is between 80 and 200 meters and a water gate adjusting section which serve as a sewage treatment unit; and reforming the conventional waste slow-flow pollutant loading creek so as to turn the pollutant loading creek into a sewage treatment facility for the villages and small towns. The method has the advantages of realizing sewage treatment and ecological restoration of the water environment of the villages and small towns, saving land resource and using recycled waste water for cultivating and irrigating, along with small investment, convenient management and maintenance and low running cost.
