Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: determining adjacent cells in a reporting list by user equipment; determining the measurement information of member carriers in each adjacent cell; and sending a measurement reporting message to the network side by the user equipment, wherein the measurement reporting message comprises the measurement information of the member carriers in each adjacent cell. The invention can lower the signaling cost and reduce the reporting time delay, and is favorable for carrying out handover decision to reduce the dropped call rate of users.
