Abstract

A MCrAlY composite coating, which is rich in Al on an outer layer and rich in Cr on an inner layer and is distributed in a gradient form, is formed by depositing an AlSiY coating on a MCrAlY coating and by using a vacuum diffusion annealing method. The concentration of Al elements on the surface layer of the composite coating is 18 to 22 weight percent, and the concentration of Cr elements on the inner layer is 28 to 45 weight percent. The MCrAlY composite coating, which is rich in Al on the outer layer and rich in Cr on the inner layer and is distributed in a gradient form, is prepared by combination of arc ion plating depositionand the vacuum diffusion annealing.
