Abstract

The invention provides a method for preparing Chinese medicinal composition for respiratory disease of livestock and application thereof and relates to extraction of a Chinese medicinal composition. The Chinese medicinal composition comprises indigowoad root, baical skullcap root, liquorice root, vietnamese sophora root, ephedra and platycodon root; the composition is prepared by the following steps: (1) obtaining an ethanol extract of the indigowoad root; slicing the scutellaria and soaking the sliced scutellaria in hot water; mixing the scutellaria with a hot leachate, the liquorice, the bushy sophora, the ephedra, the platycodon and indigowoad root medicinal residue obtained after the ethanol is extracted; slowly adding the ethanol into the obtained condensate with stirring till the alcohol content reaches 60 percent, reclaiming the ethanol at reduced pressure from a supernatant liquid till alcohol taste disappears to obtain a water extract, and making the water extract into oral liquid or particles in an amount of 100 kilograms, or 100,000 pills by tabletting, or injection by sterilization. The composition has the advantages of good treatment effect on preventing and curing the respiratory disease of livestock, wide sources of medicinal materials, low cost, simple preparation method, no medicament residue and safe clinical application.
