Problems solved by technology

Although these traditional particulate retention and drainage systems can better promote the retention of fine fibers and fillers in paper materials and improve the drainage performance of paper materials, because bentonite and colloidal silica are all inorganic anionic substances , Therefore, the cationic polymer and these anionic particles only rely on electrostatic adsorption to produce a combination. Therefore, the weak binding force will weaken the retention and drainage performance of the high-speed paper machine

Abstract

The invention provides a method for improving the performance of paper stock in retention and drainage aiding. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, dispersing plant fiber materials for papermaking in water, beating the plant fiber materials with the beating degree being controlled to 25 to 70 DEG SR (Schopper-Riegler); secondly, feeding the evenly mixed slurry into the approach flow system of a paper machine, and adding CPAM (cationic polyacrylamide) as retention agent before feeding the slurry into a fan pump of the approach flow system; then, adding electronegative bentonite before feeding the slurry into a pressure screen or a head box, and adding APAM (anionic polyacrylamide) before feeding the slurry into the head box; and finally, papermaking forming on the paper machine, drying and obtaining the qualified paper. By adding excessive CPAM to the paper machine, the invention allows the action between CPAM and bentonite to form fine particles, and the further combination with APAM to form floccules, thereby providing draining channels in good conditions and further improving the drainage capacity during the forming process of the paper stock.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of papermaking industry, and particularly relates to a method for improving the retention and drainage performance of paper materials. Background technique [0002] At present, the traditional particle retention and drainage system used in the paper industry is composed of two components: cationic polymer and anionic particles. The amount is generally 0.01% to 0.1%, and then the large flocs are broken up by high shear. Finally, the anion particles are added in an amount of 0.05% to 0.8%, and the broken fine component flocs are adsorbed by the anion particles, resulting in retention and drainage effects. This typical particle retention and drainage system includes a hydrocol system composed of cationic polypropylene phthalamide (CPAM) / bentonite and a compozil system composed of cationic starch and colloidal silica. Although these traditional particle retention and drainage systems can better promote the retention of ...
