Problems solved by technology

At this time, the actual luminous flux supported by the gas discharge lamp has been greatly reduced after the aging of the gas discharge lamp. When it passes the input of the rated power, the aging of the gas discharge lamp will be accelerated. At the same time, the aging light source still consumes the same electric energy, resulting in waste.

Obviously, the described embodiments are only some, not all, embodiments of the present invention. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by persons of ordinary skill in the art without creative efforts fall within the protection scope of the present invention.

[0020] Gas discharge lamps have attracted much attention due to their high luminous efficiency, long life, and good color rendering. However, due to the constraints of existing technologies and the influence of the external and internal working environments of gas discharge lamps, 100% It was scrapped ahead of time if it failed to reach the design life, which caused a great waste of limited social resources and increased environmental pollution. Due to the constant ...

Abstract

The invention discloses an automatic control method of the output power of a gas discharge lamp, comprising steps as follows: detecting the light wane variable quantity of the gas discharge lamp; matching corresponding actual power value for the gas discharge lamp in accordance with the detected light wane variable quantity; and regulating the output power of the gas discharge lamp in accordance with the matched actual power. Accordingly, the embodiment of the invention also discloses an electronic ballast, comprising a light wane sampling module, a singlechip, and a half-bridge inverter, wherein the light wine sampling module is used for detecting the light wane variable quantity of the gas discharge lamp; the singlechip is used for matching corresponding actual power value for the gas discharge lamp in accordance with the light wane variable quantity detected by the light wane sampling module; and the half-bridge inverter is used for regulating the output power of the gas discharge lamp in accordance with the actual power matched by the singlechip. Through the implementation of the embodiment of the invention, the electronic ballast of the invention can prolong the service life of the gas discharge lamp, and save more energy compared with the existing electronic ballast.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the lighting field, in particular to a method for automatically controlling the output power of a gas discharge lamp and an electronic ballast. Background technique [0002] The gas discharge light source is the most widely used light source in the luminous radiation light source. It uses the principle of gas discharge luminescence, that is, the principle that the gas medium radiates visible light during the discharge process of the current through the gas medium. Gas-discharge lamps include the following types of lamps: mercury lamps, metal halide lamps, high-pressure sodium lamps, low-pressure sodium lamps, and, less commonly, short-arc xenon lamps. The light-emitting element of these gas discharge lamp types is a ceramic arc discharge tube placed in a high-temperature-resistant lamp tube, and has a luminous capacity of more than 3W / cm2 (19.4W / in.2). [0003] The electrodes at both ends of the arc tube of the gas discharge l...
