Abstract

The invention discloses a composition of a construction material changed from waste phosphogypsum. The composition comprises 100 portions of magnesia-alumina powered ore, and 30 to 70 portions of an ingredient A, wherein the magnesia-alumina powdered ore contains 80 to 90 percent of magnesium oxide, 1 to 5 percent of ferric oxide, 1.5 to 10 percent of calcium oxide, and 1 to 5 percent of phosphoric oxide; and the ingredient A is aqueous solution of magnesium chloride, phosphoric acid and aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, wherein the magnesium chloride accounts for 40 to 60 percent, the phosphoric acid accounts for 0.3 to 0.7 percent, and the aluminum dihydrogen phosphate accounts for 0.2 to 0.4 percent. The invention also discloses a method for purifying the waste phosphogysum. The method is to mix 100 portions of the magnesia-alumina powered ore, 30 to 70 percent of the ingredient A with 100 to 1,200 portions of the crushed waste phosphogypsum, and stir the mixture for 3 to 6 minutes under normal temperature to be naturally solidified. The invention also discloses a construction material, comprising 100 portions of the magnesia-alumina powered ore, 30 to 70 portions of the ingredient A, and 100 to 1,200 portions of the crushed waste phosphogysum.
