Embodiment Construction

[0050] Further details will be given below in conjunction with the preferred embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings.

[0051] The method for improving Doppler sound quality used in the color ultrasound system of the present invention is based on the use of a digital signal processor to complete the pre-processing of the ultrasonic echo signal, from which the sound data of blood flow in the forward and reverse directions is separated; especially includes the following steps :

[0052] A. Using a programmable device to receive the sound data of the blood flow in the forward and reverse directions batch by batch, complete the serial-to-parallel conversion of the data, and recover the sound data of the forward and reverse blood flow;

[0053] B. Construct N×M-1 order finite impulse response filter in described programmable device and do upsampling operation, M and N are all natural numbers; This filter comprises M multipliers, usually M≥8, and N is filter The number of ti...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method used for improving Doppler sound quality in a color ultrasound system, which bases on the steps as follows: a digital signal processor is utilized to complete the former treatment to ultrasonic echo signals; the DSP sends sound signals to a programmable device gradually with batches; a programmable chip completes the serial-parallel transformation on data, and restores sound data of a positive blood stream and a reverse blood stream; every adjacent data is supplemented with seven zero; a 63-step FIR is utilized to complete up-sample filtering, and eight special multipliers of the programmable chip are used; an interpolated point is obtained through adding up the arithmetic products between eight original point data and interpolated coefficients, the coefficients are switched by turns, all the coefficients are just used after switching for eight times, and eight up-sample filtering data is obtained finally; and the up-sample filtering data is stored into an FIFO, and then is output to a DAC chip in a uniform speed manner. The method utilizes the programmable chip to perform up-sample processing on part of the sound signals, increases the sampling efficiency under lower PRF without increasing the cashe, and reduces the distortion of DAC inband high frequency signals so as to improve the Doppler sound quality.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a medical ultrasound imaging system, in particular to a method for detecting blood flow velocity by Doppler effect and converting it into a sound signal, in particular to a method for improving the sound quality of blood flow at a relatively low scanning speed. Background technique [0002] In ultrasound imaging systems, the Doppler effect is widely used in the detection of blood flow. When examining arterial and venous blood flow using the ultrasonic Doppler effect, it is necessary to convert the blood flow velocity into another intuitive way, such as: sound, map, etc. In general, an ultrasound transducer transmits ultrasound waves into a subject and receives ultrasound echoes returned from the subject. In blood vessels, moving red blood cells scatter ultrasound waves, which causes the frequency of ultrasound echoes to shift. The magnitude of the frequency shift is related to the center frequency of the emitted ultrasonic wa...
