Abstract

The invention discloses a fault diagnosis system based on PDA and a method thereof, wherein a central database server, a network server, client computers and wireless access points are connected by a wired network, the central database server is mounted with a large relation data bank, for establishing a knowledge base and an inference engine; the network server interchanges the information among the central database server and a plurality of PDA; each PDA is accessed into the network via client computers or wireless access points to interchange data with the central database server. The method comprises that users input fault phenomenon; an information pretreatment unit matches a source case with the fault phenomenon, an answer extraction unit extracts and feedbacks a most similar answer according to the inference result to users. The invention provides a system and a method, via which outfield workers can utilize PDA to realize auxiliary maintenance of planes and obtain high fault diagnosis efficiency and ability on PDA.
