Abstract

An electric connector of a socket comprises an insulating body and a plurality of conductive terminals held on the insulating body, wherein the insulating body is provided with a tongue piece; the tongue piece is provided with a supporting part and a butt joint surface; the conductive terminals are provided with at least a first conductive terminal; the first conductive terminals are provided with first welding parts and first elastic butt joint parts positioned on the supporting part; the conductive terminals are further provided with at least a pair of differential signal terminals used for transmitting signals, wherein each differential signal terminal is provided with a second welding part and a second flat-shaped butt joint part; the first butt joint parts and the second butt joint parts are arranged in two rows in the length direction of the tongue piece, wherein the second butt joint parts are closer to the butt joint surface of the tongue piece compared with the first elastic butt joint parts; and the first welding parts and the second welding parts are arranged in at least two rows. By adopting the arrangement, a pair of differential signal terminals is increased on the tongue piece, thereby increasing the data transmission rate.
