Problems solved by technology

[0007] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2005-225905 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2005-247899 disclose that polybutadiene rubber (VCR412, manufactured by Ube Industries, Ltd.) in which syndiotactic-1,2-polybutadiene is dispersed is mixed. Rubber composition for tires, since the average primary particle size of syndiotactic-1,2-polybutadiene in butadiene rubber is large (250nm), it cannot be dispersed sufficiently, so sufficient performance cannot be obtained

Abstract

Use of polybutadiene containing specific syndiotactic poly(1,2-butadiene) in a tread rubber can improve wearing resistance without impairing chipping / cutting resistance. A rubber composition for treads is provided which contains a rubber ingredient containing 10-30 wt.% butadiene rubber which contains syndiotactic poly(1,2-butadiene) dispersed therein having an average primary-particle diameter of 100 nm or smaller.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a rubber composition for treads. Background technique [0002] In tires, especially heavy-duty tires such as trucks and passenger cars tend to generate heat (heat generation tends to decrease), so in order to suppress the heat generation, for example, the particle size of carbon black is increased, or the method of reducing carbon black is used. The method of compounding amount, etc. However, in each of these cases, there arises a problem of a decrease in wear resistance. [0003] In order to improve wear resistance, butadiene rubber (BR) is added as a rubber component, but at this time, with the use of the tire, the strength and elongation of the tread will decrease, and cut marks will occur on the tread, which may be driven by the vehicle. And the problem that most of the fine pieces of the tread rubber fall off due to braking (decreased resistance to blockage). [0004] In this way, especially in heavy-duty tires, it is s...
