Abstract

The invention relates to a new usage of Naodesheng tablets extraction for treating diabetes complications, belonging to the technical field of the Chinese herbal medicines. The Naodesheng tablets extraction is made of the active pharmaceutical ingredients of the following parts by weights: 70 to 80 portions of notoginseng, 255 to 265 portions of kudzu root, 85 to 95 portions of safflower, 70 to 80 portions of rhizoma ligustici wallichii and 150 to 160 portions of haw. The preparation method comprises the following steps: first, mixing the whole notoginseng and half the kudzu root and crush into powder to get the notoginseng-and-kudzu root medical powder; then, extracting the remaining active pharmaceutical ingredients to get the clear cream with 1.22 to 1.25 as the relative density at 80 degrees Celsius; finally, adding the notoginseng-and-kudzu root medical powder and mixing uniformly to get the Naodesheng tablets extraction. The Naodesheng tablets extraction has obvious curative effect for treating diabetes complications caused by microangiopathy such as peripheral neuritis, diabetic retinopathy and gangrene and successfully cures patients who fail in treating diabetes complications via normal treatment.
