This invention discloses an emulation method for sonar array signals by using of slip-in filter. It is to create an interpolating FIR filter parameter file by using filter to design tools and rearrange the file; and to divide the time-delay of each elements in base array into rough delay and precise delay; to do rough delay treatment to the incidence signals of data memory according to rough delay control quantity; to use the interpolating FIR filter parameter file after rearranged to filter the data through tough delay treatment. The filtering result is the emulation signal. This invention can ensure both high delay accuracy and large delay range; it increases the calculation speed and spares the hardware memory space and can be easily realized on DSP platform.
