Problems solved by technology

Since the NPH injection method injects insulin once a day, there is a problem that the range of hypoglycemia occurs in a time period that does not coincide with the insulin secretion curve of the human body
The RI injection method injects insulin four or seven times a day, so there is a problem that insulin may be misused in a situation that does not match the situation of a diabetic such as the amount of food ingested, the amount of exercise, etc., causing side effects
[0005] Since the amount of insulin to be injected must be set every day, it is difficult for the elderly to use the insulin syringe, and even for ordinary patients, it is inconvenient to use the insulin syringe

Embodiment Construction

[0022] Reference is now made to the drawings in which the same reference numerals are used to designate the same or similar elements in the different drawings.

[0023] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. figure 1 is a diagram showing the structure of an insulin syringe according to the present invention. The insulin syringe according to the present invention receives information on the amount of insulin to be injected through an external access port (not shown) of a mobile communication terminal, such as a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port. In this case, the mobile communication terminal is provided with a function of detecting the user's blood sugar concentration. In Korean Patent Application No. 10-2003-0073185 filed on October 20, 2003 by the present applicant, entitled "Mobile communication terminal with blood sugar measurement function and medical examination system and method using ...

Abstract

An insulin pump for use in conjunction with a mobile communication terminal capable of measuring a blood glucose level, and a network for transmitting control information for the insulin pump are disclosed. The insulin pump includes an external input port, an output port, memory, a key input unit, a control unit, and a motor driver. The external input port receives information on the amounts of insulin to be injected. The output port outputs information on the amounts of insulin injected. The memory stores the information on the amounts of insulin injected. The key input unit inputs the status of a user. The control unit extracts the information on the amounts of insulin to be injected from the memory. The motor drive operates a soft motor to supply insulin.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention generally relates to providing control signals to insulin injectors through mobile communication terminals, and more specifically relates to an insulin injector used in conjunction with a mobile communication terminal capable of measuring blood sugar concentration, and a network system for sending control information to the insulin injector , and a method for controlling the insulin syringe through the network system; wherein, the user's blood glucose concentration is measured through a mobile communication terminal capable of measuring blood glucose concentration, and the information related to the measured blood glucose concentration is provided to the medical service through the mobile communication terminal a server, the medical server generates information on the amount of insulin to be injected to the user, and the mobile communication terminal controls the insulin syringe based on the generated information on the amount of ins...
