[0267] Working Example 1: Preparation of Monomer Mixtures

[0268] 1,6-Hexanediol dimethacrylate (HDDMA) and lauryl acrylate (LA) were stored on molecular sieve 4A. HDDMA was purified by passage through a silica gel column prior to use. 4 g of HDDMA and 6 g of LA were mixed in a glass vial, thus obtaining a monomer mixture. The weight ratio of HDDMA:LA in the monomer mixture was 40:60.
