Abstract

The invention discloses application of a Nnufs1 gene in treatment of heart failure after myocardial infarction and related products, up-regulation of the Nnufs1 can significantly reduce apoptosis and mitochondrial respiratory dysfunction caused by hypoxia, which is extremely beneficial to improvement of myocardial cell functions and reduction of cell death. The NDufs1 overexpression vector based on AAV can significantly improve myocardial fibrosis and cardiac dysfunction after myocardial infarction. Therefore, aiming at the new target Nnufs1, AAV-based gene therapy is expected to become an effective means for treating or preventing heart failure after myocardial infarction.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of biology and new medicine, in particular to an application of Ndufs1 gene in treating heart failure after myocardial infarction and related products. Background technique [0002] Globally, cardiovascular disease is the most common cause of death. Heart failure is the end-stage manifestation of most cardiovascular diseases, its long-term prognosis is poor, and its 5-year mortality rate exceeds that of some common cancers. Myocardial infarction has been the most common cause of heart failure for the past 20 years. During myocardial infarction, the sudden interruption or reduction of blood supply results in the death of cardiomyocytes or the dysfunction of remaining surviving cardiomyocytes. Apoptosis and myocardial fibrosis are important pathological features of adverse myocardial remodeling after myocardial infarction. Although current advances in interventional and drug strategies have brought about be...
