Embodiment Construction

[0030] The present disclosure is made with reference to the drawings showing the embodiments. However, many different implementations may be utilized, and thus, this description should not be construed as limited to the implementations set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers are used in the drawings and the following description to refer to the same elements, and prime notations are used in alternative embodiments to indicate similar elements, operations or steps. Shown as separate blocks or shown separation of functional elements of systems and devices does not necessarily require a physical separation of such functionality, as such elements may communicate without any such physical separation Occurs through message passing, function calls, shared memory spaces, etc. Thus, although functions are shown separately herein for ease of illustration, the functions...

Abstract

A method, system, and computer-readable medium for enabling a client application to access an online service, such as an online AI service, without requiring the developer of the client application to fully understand the interface contract of the online service and write software code integrating the client application directly with the interface of the online service. In one aspect, the interface contract of the online service is automatically analyzed, and the client application developer is presented with options for configuring the mapping of data fields between the client application or client application database and the online service. Based on the developer's configuration choices, software code is automatically generated for exchanging data between the client application or client application database and the online service. Trigger conditions for the software code may be changes in the database state, predefined events, or requests received from the client application.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to backend-as-a-service technologies for cloud computing platforms. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to techniques for generating, by Backend-as-a-Service, software code that enables client applications to interact with Backend-as-a-Service to use RESTful applications provided by online services of cloud computing platforms Program interface (application program interface, API) to access online services. Background technique [0002] Cloud computing is a form of network-based computing (eg, Internet-based computing) that enables access, usually through the Internet, to a shared pool of configurable computing resources and higher-level services that can be provided rapidly with minimal administrative effort. Cloud computing is another paradigm shift that arose with the shift from mainframe-based computing to client-server-based computing implemented as services. Cloud computing service providers usually deliv...
