The method comprises the following steps: extracting a pore throat radius parameter reflecting reservoir quality from a mercury injection capillary pressure curve of each to-be-classified reservoir rock; based on an image processing technology, extracting pore characteristic parameters reflecting pore types from each casting body slice of the each to-be-classified reservoir rock; performing principal component analysis on the pore characteristic parameters, and extracting a first principal component parameter; and performing clustering analysis on all the pore throat radius parameters and all the first principal component parameters to obtain a plurality of categories of reservoir rocks. The parameters extracted from various rock core scales, such as the pore throat radius parameter and the pore feature parameter, are integrated to classify the rock, the relationship among geology, rock physics and microscopic slice data is balanced, the rock reservoir classification process gives consideration to macroscopic and microscopic scales, reservoir geological cause connotation can be revealed to achieve a prediction effect.
