Embodiment Construction

[0019] The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0020] (1) combined with attached figure 1 , 2 , 3 shows that a novel bit mapping method in a polar code high-order modulation system is specifically implemented as follows:

[0021] In the construction of polar codes, when the code length is N=2 n , when the information bit length is K, the coding rate of the polar code is R=K / N. First, the Gaussian approximation method is used to estimate the reliability of the split channel, and the reliability is sorted from high to low to obtain Select K split channels with the highest reliability to transmit information bits, and the position index set is marked as A; the remaining N-K split channels transmit frozen bits (usually set to all "0"), and the position index set is marked as A c . Output source bit sequence after bit mixing

[0022] Then the source bits are coded with a polar code....

Abstract

The invention particularly relates to a novel bit mapping method in a polarization code high-order modulation system. The invention belongs to the technical field of channel coding, which comprises the following steps of: taking a polarization code as a component code of a bit interleaved coded modulation (BICM) system, firstly sorting split channels where code word bits are located and equivalent channels of the BICM system according to different reliability degrees, and then distributing frozen bits on unreliable split channels to the equivalent channels with low modulator protection degrees, using an equivalent channel with a high modulator protection degree for transmitting information bits, and providing more protection for transmission of the information bits. The bit error rate performance of a bit-interleaved polarization coded modulation (BIPCM) system is obviously improved under the condition that the complexity is not obviously increased. Simulation results show that compared with a random mapping method and an interleaving mapping method, the novel bit mapping method provided by the invention obtains a certain degree of net coding gain in a BIPCM system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of channel coding and relates to a high-order modulation method of polar codes in channel coding. This method is mainly based on the principle of channel polarization and SC decoding of polar codes, and the unequal protection of the equivalent channel by the modulator under high-order modulation to improve the bit mapping of the BIPCM system. Background technique [0002] Polar codes, a linear block code, can be strictly proven to achieve the channel capacity of basic channels such as binary symmetric channels, and have a deterministic construction method. First proposed by Professor Arikan of Bilkent University in Turkey in 2009, it is a new star in the coding industry. As a channel coding technology that can be theoretically proven to reach the Shannon limit and has practical linear complexity coding and decoding capabilities, polar codes were successfully presented at the 3GPP RAN1#87 meeting in Reno, Ne...
