The device for researching the evolution process of the selective laser melting molten pool comprises a first glass sheet, a second glass sheet, a clamp and a laser system, wherein the first glass sheet is provided with small holes capable of being filled with metal powder; the second glass sheet covers the first glass sheet; the clamp is used for clamping the first glass sheet and the second glass sheet; the laser system is used for positioning and melting the metal powder in the small holes; the small holes are formed in the face, attached to the second glass sheet, of the first glass sheet.
